West Lake Hills is located in old Westlake, is close to downtown and feeds into Eanes ISD. It’s located in the picturesque hill country terrain between The Capital of Texas Highway (360) the west shores of Lady Bird Lake, extending north to the Wild Basin Wilderness Preserve and as far south as Rollingwood Drive. The city of West Lake Hills was founded and incorporated as a village on September 9, 1953. The city is comprised of approximately 4 square miles, 1,000 homes, over 3000 residents and 200 businesses.
West Lake Hills is unique in many ways. The citizens, along with their elected and appointed officials, are dedicated to preserving the rural environment and maintaining the natural beauty of the area.
